SARA Presents Design Award of Honor to RLB+A for Walden Galleria Development

Walden cornice linesThe Society of American Registered Architects (SARA) presented its 2010 Awards awards on Friday, October 8, at the Sheraton Society Hill Hotel in downtown Philadelphia during the Society's 54th National Conference. Richard L. Bowen + Associates was recognized with a Design Award of Honor for the Walden Galleria Redevelopment project. The renovation of this regional mall utilized a bold use of materials while maintaining a pedestrian scale creating inviting and pronounced entrances. The alliance of the variegated rhythms of the cornice lines as well as multiple material choices, result in the dynamic Streetscape.

At this year's SARA conference, twenty-six (26) firms representing 42 winning design projects were recognized. In addition to Richard L.
