Richard L. Bowen + Associates and BKV Group were commissioned
by the City of Bedford to design a new municipal center that reflects the
architectural tradition of Bedford and works harmoniously with its local character.
The new center provides facilities for the city administration,
city council, police, fire, and municipal court.
It features a variety of key spaces, including Council Chambers,
four state-of-the-art courtrooms, a five-day detention center,
a police firing range, and administrative offices at the entry level for the
fire department with a five-bay apparatus area and sleeping quarters at the upper level. |
