Montpelier PK-12

Richard L. Bowen + Associates led the team providing construction management services for Montpelier Exempted Village School District’s new PK-12 facility and abatement/demolition of 4 existing building. We provided a full range of construction management services per OSFC requirements. This included coordination with the design team and third parties, estimating, scheduling (design and construction), Ohio Schools Design Manual compliance review, constructability review, value engineering, design phase submissions, bidding, full field management, monthly core meetings, weekly field meetings, cost control and cost reporting. We supplemented this effort with partnering and training district personnel in the OSFC and construction processes.

We surmounted several difficult site issues including drainage and weak soil conditions. We are proud of the success at keeping the project on schedule, staying within budget and complying with all OSFC requirements while meeting the needs of the district.
