35,000 sq. ft.
This project involved complete replacement and expansion of an amphitheater in the heart of Cleveland’s entertainment district. Located on the Cuyahoga River, the open-air 5,000 seat facility features a tensile roof, grandstands, VIP seating and reserve seating, stage, concessions, dressing rooms and offices. The complex is situated on a very confined site.
Along with the new amenities, the pavilion also received new graphics and public art installations for enjoyment of concert goers and passersby. Richard L. Bowen + Associates worked closely with theatrical experts, lighting and sound consultants and the venue operator, House of Blues Concerts, to deliver a state-of-the-art facility under a very tight schedule.
