Vitamix Facilities Expansion

This project is a 35,500 SF addition to a facility that produces high quality food processing and blending equipment. The new addition will consolidate all of the shipping and receiving into one area with 14 truck bays, allowing the operations to run more smoothly and efficiently as business increases.

The project also involves adding a 7,000 SF of new office space in an area that currently is a two-story warehouse space. This new office space will give Vitamix the room they need to expand their office staff as they continue to grow their business. The project also includes a new shipping and receiving driveway with parking and many site amenities for the employees, including the expansion of their current walking path. The project is seeking LEED silver designation. Construction is scheduled for completion Fall, 2010.
